I'm trying to backup my MacBook (Catalina 10.15.2) using Acronis True Image 2020 (v.24.5.22510) to a WD MyCloud Ex2 Ultra NAS. Each time I do so the backup hangs with 'less than 1 minute' and I have no option but to pause the job. I have let this run for in excess of 24 hours and there is still no movement.

For info. the .tibx file on the NAS is 269.02gb and there is 3.45tb free.

I am not a Mac user, so my comments come from a Windows perspective.

The size of your .tibx file on the NAS at nearly 270GB is very large - is it possible for you to break this down into smaller parts, and test if those smaller backups will complete successfully?

Are you performing any other action as part of your backup task, i.e. following the backup by doing a validation?

Has this backup ever worked previously?
